I was recently catching up with Ed Young one of the most forward and creative leaders in the church in the US, on his blog.  He addressed the topic of foul mouth pastors and leaders.  I love it and wanted to share it.  We should all stop and think about what we are saying.  Remember what Jesus said?  “You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.” Matthew 12:34

You’ll get a kick out of this, but as leaders we all need to take it to heart. View the video below – it’s 3 minutes & 44 seconds.

Um, wow. I am so glad you shared this, because I say things likie suck a lot. Or crap. I tend to think that since I’m not cussing, it’s okay, but I see what he’s saying and it’s really not okay. When there is an opportunity to speak to anyone, why waste time with useless words anyway? It’s like sentence fillers – and in general fillers are over-processed and bad for you. Hmmm, there’s some perspective too… out of the mouth comes what’s in the heart… is there nothing there but fillers? Just randomness? Thought provoking…

  2. wow-im working on that- as of right now.
